7). FLOYD EDWARDS

FLOYD EDWARDS written in 2000

Born April 1, 1912 th 7th child of Joseph M. and Mary Viola Chandler
Edwards near Long View Mississippi moved at an early age to Woodruff
County AR . Left farm at age 24 to work in auto plant in Michigan.
Volunteered in the US army early in 1941, served in army until 1944.
Married Irene Broome Dec. 1946. We have one daughter Sandra Crandell
and two grandsons, Jason and Jeff Crandall. Retired from GM in 1977.
We attended church regularly. Taught a class of young men from 1965-
1985 in Sunday School.
I make a vegetable garden every, have a lot of friends, keep in touch with
many of my nieces and nephews, and plan to continue as I am. Hope to
live to 100 or if the Lord wants me before then someone will take over.
THIS IS NOT MY OBITUARY.
